How to set up your digital planner in GoodNotes

A gentle, step-by-step guide to importing your Moss & Moons planner into GoodNotes or Notability and using the tap-to-jump hyperlinks.

Got a shiny new digital planner and an iPad? Lovely. Here’s the cozy, no-stress way to get everything set up so you can start planning in minutes.

1. Download and unzip

After checkout you’ll get an email (and a thank-you page) with your download links. Each planner arrives as a .zip. Tap it on your iPad and it’ll unzip into a PDF — that’s the file you’ll import. Lost the email? You can always re-send your links using the address you checked out with.

2. Import into GoodNotes

  1. Open GoodNotes and tap the + to add a new document.
  2. Choose Import, then pick your planner PDF.
  3. Give it a cozy name and you’re in.

Notability works exactly the same way — use Import and select the PDF.

This is the magic bit. Our planners are fully hyperlinked: tap any tab, month, or section and you’ll fly straight there — no endless scrolling. Make sure you’re in reading/scroll mode (not zoomed into edit mode) for the links to respond to a tap.

4. Make it yours

Add your favorite pen, drop in stickers, highlight to your heart’s content. Because it’s digital, you can erase and start fresh anytime — and reuse the undated pages year after year.
