Privacy Policy

The short version

We only collect what we need to take your order, deliver your files, and send the emails you ask for. We don't sell your data, we don't run creepy ad trackers, and our analytics are cookieless. You can ask us to show you or delete your data at any time. 🌙

What we collect

When you buy something: your email address and order details. Payment card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.

When you join our newsletter or grab a freebie: your email address (and, for a moment, your IP address, which we use only to slow down spam and bots).

When you leave a review: the name and review text you choose to share.

When you browse: anonymous, cookieless usage stats (pages viewed, rough device type, referring site) through our own privacy-friendly analytics. No personal profiles, no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies.

How we use it

To process your purchase and deliver your downloads, to email your order links and (if you opted in) the occasional cozy update, to answer your questions, to show verified-purchase review badges, and to understand which planners people love so we can make better ones.

We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's advertising.

Who helps us run the shop

We use a small set of trusted services (our "subprocessors") to operate Moss & Moons. Each only receives what it needs:

Stripe — secure payments and checkout. Vercel — website hosting and content delivery. Neon — our database (stores orders, reviews, and newsletter sign-ups). Vercel Blob — secure, private storage for your download files. Resend — sending order and newsletter emails.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

Cookies & analytics

We keep this simple. Your shopping cart is stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) so it remembers what you added; that never leaves your device until you check out.

Our analytics are first-party and cookieless: we measure visits without identifying you and without third-party advertising trackers. Because of that, you won't find a wall of cookie pop-ups here.

How long we keep things

We keep order records for as long as needed to support your purchase, re-send your downloads, honor refunds, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.

Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe from the link in any email at any time, and we'll remove you from the list.

Your choices & rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from emails whenever you like. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights to access, port, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing.

To make any of these requests, just email us and we'll take care of it. We'll never charge you for a reasonable request.

Children

Moss & Moons is meant for grown-up planner lovers. Our shop isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS everywhere), gated download links tied to your paid order, and access controls on our systems. No method is ever 100% perfect, but we take reasonable care to keep your data safe.
